As spring struggles to truly arrive, you can make productive use of some of these rainy and bad weather days.  Undertake a financial spring-cleaning for your personal financial life, as identified by Eleanor Blayney, CFP®, CFP Board’s Consumer Advocate:  Financial Spring Cleaning.  I liked her idea of establishing a three-tier storage system and her advice to get your annual free credit report.  Another great idea is to consolidate your investment accounts with one financial planner.   Make your life simpler.  Your planner will be in a better position to consider the totality of your situation when providing advice.

Taking the time to get better organized now will allow you more free time in the future.  Plus, you’ll feel a sense of accomplishment!
