Summer is often a wonderful time to catch up on some books. Whether you are relaxing poolside, beachside or perhaps traveling by car or plane; you have a chance to read (or listen).  With that in mind, below is a list of what some of the staff at KHC Wealth Management are reading this summer – ranging from beach-worthy, book club-worthy to “heavier” topics:

Beach-Worthy

Revenge Wears Prada: The Devil Returns by Lauren Weisberger – funny with a great twist!
Girl, Wash Your Face by Rachel Hollis – amazing and funny
Twisted Prey by John Sanford – typical mystery genre
Lillian Boxworth Takes a Walk by Kathleen Mooney – a work of fiction about a female New Yorker’s adventures from the Jazz Age to the 1980s
Bury the Lead by David Rosenfelt – if you love dogs and mysteries, this is the book and series for you!

Book-Club Worthy

The Signature of All Things by Elizabeth Gilbert – a novel spanning much of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries by following a British family
All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr – winner of the Pulitzer prize, a novel about a blind French girl and a German boy during World Wat II

Heavier

Flight of the Buffalo – Soaring to Excellence Learning to Let Employees Lead by James Belasco and Ralph Stayer – a classic leadership book based on the principle that a herd of buffaloes has one leader, and when that leader is gone, the herd stands there; while a gaggle of geese alternates leaders, increasing efficiency
